Jodie Wishart is a Registered Psychologist who has a passion for supporting adolescents and adults to improve their quality of life and reach their desired goals, using evidence-based therapies. Jodie completed her undergraduate studies at Western Sydney University, with Honours, and holds a Master of Professional Psychology.

Jodie’s clinical experience has been in the public health setting in rural and metropolitan hospitals, working with individuals across the lifespan. She also has experience in the co-facilitation of group therapy programs, that includes Dialectal Behaviour Therapy, early intervention for primary age children, and parenting programs. Jodie has experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety and stress, grief and loss, emotion dysregulation, low self-esteem, poor body image, sleep difficulties, anger problems, and eating disorders.

In terms of treatment approaches, Jodie is trained to provide a number of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy - Enhanced (for Eating Disorders), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Jodie uses a warm, nonjudgmental approach when working with clients, to ensure they feel respected and understood.
