Victoria is a Paediatric and Young Adulthood Registered Psychologist. She has experience working with children, adolescents and their families across a variety of settings including primary schools, secondary schools, Learning Links and Headspace. Victoria aims to create a therapeutic space that is warm, non-judgemental and person-centred to make children and young people feel safe and heard. She has worked with young people presenting with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, autism spectrum disorder, interpersonal difficulties, stress management, adjustment difficulties, low self-esteem and self-harm.
Victoria works using a person-centred approach, using a range of evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and social skills training to help children and young people reach their goals and feel understood.
Victoria completed a Bachelor degree in Psychology (with Honours) at the University of Sydney and Masters Degree in Professional Psychology (with Distinction) at Western Sydney University. During her postgraduate studies, Victoria was awarded the Dean’s Medal in recognition of her excellent academic performance during her training.
Victoria currently offers appointments at Calvert & Associates Psychology on Mondays.
