Maria is a compassionate Clinical Psychologist at Calvert & Associates Psychology. Maria works collaboratively with older adolescents (16+) and adults on improving emotional wellbeing and moving towards living a vital and meaningful life.
Maria is also a diabetes psychologist at a public diabetes service and has experience supporting people in diverse settings including public schools, inpatient mental health, and non-government organisations.
Maria sees clients aged 16 and older and has an interest in providing support in the following areas:
- Anxiety, worry, and phobias
- Body image difficulties
- Depression and low mood
- Emotion regulation difficulties
- Eating disorders (adults only), including: Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia Nervosa, Atypical Anorexia Nervosa, and Purging Disorder
- Living with diabetes
- Sleep difficulties and insomnia
- Stress and adjustment to significant life events
