Maria is a compassionate Clinical Psychologist at Calvert & Associates Psychology. Maria works collaboratively with older adolescents (16+) and adults on improving emotional wellbeing and moving towards living a vital and meaningful life.

Maria is also a diabetes psychologist at a public diabetes service and has experience supporting people in diverse settings including public schools, inpatient mental health, and non-government organisations.

Maria sees clients aged 16 and older and has an interest in providing support in the following areas:

  • Anxiety, worry, and phobias
  • Body image difficulties
  • Depression and low mood
  • Emotion regulation difficulties
  • Eating disorders (adults only), including: Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia Nervosa, Atypical Anorexia Nervosa, and Purging Disorder
  • Living with diabetes
  • Sleep difficulties and insomnia
  • Stress and adjustment to significant life events

  • CBT-Enhanced for Eating Disorders (CBT-E)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing
