Chris is a dedicated and patient psychologist who is committed to providing high quality care to his clients. He works collaboratively, encouraging clients to take an active role in their treatment and foster positive change that extends into their daily lives.

Chris has over five years of experience and has worked in a range of clinical settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, private practice, and community mental health clinics. During this time, he has worked with clients across the lifespan with a wide range of psychological issues.

Chris has a strong interest in providing evidence-based interventions for a range of mental health concerns, particularly mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. He uses an eclectic approach and is experienced in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behavioural Therapy (BT), Brief Psychodynamic Therapy, and Multisystemic Therapy (MST).

Chris completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and Master of Psychology (Clinical) with distinction at the University of Wollongong. His research thesis systematically reviewed the literature to determine if electrophysiological measures could assist in diagnosis of trauma in infants and children.

Chris offers appointments at Calvert & Associates Psychology on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
